Optikz in Metalworks Studios this Friday for an evening session in Studio 2 mixing "Dark", "My Own Lane" and "So Long Goodbye".

The final vocals and pre production mixing finished at Studio A for "Dark" and "My Own Lane" in preparation for final mixing of Optikz debut EP at Metalworks Studios.

Three new singles are being mixed and prepared at Studio A Audio Recording & Production for final mixing at Metalworks Studios "So Long Goodbye", "My Own Lane" and "Dark". The songs are sounding very polished and Optikz fans will not be disappointed in the final product.

Optikz has been hard at work writing new songs and spent time mixing and recording at Studio A on Friday, August, 23. "Things are coming together piece by piece, I've learned a lot over the past 21 years of doing this and the main is that you need to take time with a song to get it sounding proper. That is what I'm doing taking my time."

Optikz hit up Metal Works Studios on Tuesday, August, 6, 2019 to work on the final mixing of his upcoming new single "So Long Goodbye" and to record some of the chorus vocals for three more upcoming new singles "My Own Lane", "Redemption" and "Dark".

Optikz was featured for the first time in news print telling his story about being a male survivor of child sibling sexual abuse. His first time going public was at an event put on by Homewood Health Centre where ex-NHL hockey player and Stanley Cup Winner Theo Fleury shared his story of child sexual abuse. With the completion of the recording of "So Long Goodbye" in the summer of 2018 Optikz hoped to release the song in 2018 but it was to soon. Now finalizing the pre production for the song to have it fully prepped and ready for mixing at Metal Works Studios he hopes to have the song completely mixed, mastered and released before the end of summer 2019. If not 2019, for sure having the single ready for release in 2020.
